Sunday Mornings Done Right: Cars, Coffee & Coastal Elegance in Margate

There's something about a summer morning in Margate that simply can't be replicated.

The salt air rolls in off the beach. The streets are quiet. Coffee is brewing, breakfast is on, and by 9 a.m., the parking lot at Tighe Middle School has transformed into one of the most impressive gatherings of automobiles you'll find anywhere along the Jersey Shore.

On Sunday, July 12, Cars & Coffee Margate delivered an experience that has become as much about the lifestyle as it is the cars.

Rows of meticulously maintained Porsches, Ferraris, Corvettes, vintage European classics, modern performance cars, bespoke trucks, and timeless American muscle lined the lot, drawing collectors, enthusiasts, and families from throughout South Jersey. Conversations flowed as effortlessly as the ocean breeze, with owners sharing the stories behind their vehicles while spectators admired craftsmanship that often takes years to perfect.

This isn't a loud, crowded car show.

It's refined. Relaxed. Authentic.

The kind of event where you'll find successful entrepreneurs chatting beside retirees, first-time enthusiasts talking with lifelong collectors, and neighbors reconnecting over a shared appreciation for exceptional automobiles and the coastal lifestyle that makes this region so special.

The morning was complemented by an outstanding lineup of local vendors. Hot Bagels served fresh-made breakfast sandwiches, Jessie's of Linwood Coffee kept cups full with locally roasted coffee, and Tennessee Ave Tobacco rounded out the experience, creating an atmosphere that felt more like a neighborhood gathering than a traditional automotive event.

At the center of it all is Chris Fantazzia, whose vision has helped establish Cars & Coffee Margate as one of the premier automotive gatherings at the Jersey Shore. Chris has earned the respect of the community not only for organizing these events but also for his commitment to giving back. Just a 2 weeks ago, he completed an extraordinary charity run from Philadelphia City Hall to Lucy the Elephant in Margate, demonstrating the same determination and community spirit that have become synonymous with everything he does.

Events like this don't happen by accident. They happen because someone believes in creating experiences that bring people together.

And that's exactly what Cars & Coffee has become.

For two hours on a Sunday morning, business cards are replaced with handshakes, social media becomes real conversation, and the appreciation for fine automobiles becomes the backdrop for something even more meaningful—community.

As Margate continues to cement its reputation as one of the East Coast's premier beach destinations, events like Cars & Coffee capture everything that makes the town unique: understated luxury, welcoming people, local businesses, and a timeless appreciation for quality.

Whether you're behind the wheel of an exotic, a meticulously restored classic, or simply carrying a cup of coffee while admiring the view, there's a place for you at Cars & Coffee Margate.

We'll see you at the next one.
