Local Spotlight: Ocean Creations — Handcrafted Beach Art from the Jersey Shore
This past Sunday, Downbeach Supply Co. had the chance to attend Ocean Creation’s first exhibit in Linwood, NJ — and it did not disappoint.
Ocean Creations is a local favorite known for its high-quality sea glass and seashell art, blending the beauty of the Jersey Shore with true craftsmanship. From wall decor and tabletop pieces to handcrafted rings, necklaces, and other jewelry, every item carries that unmistakable coastal charm.
Founded by TJ Daddino about ten years ago, Ocean Creations started small — with handmade beach jewelry and trinkets — and has since evolved into a full-blown shore art brand. Over the last few years, TJ has expanded into shadow box-style art and home decor, creating pieces that instantly bring the feeling of the beach indoors.
What makes Ocean Creations truly special is the authenticity behind every piece. Most materials are collected right here along the Jersey Shore, and each item is handcrafted by TJ himself. No two pieces are ever the same — each one tells its own story of salt air, surf, and sand.
You can currently find Ocean Creations designs at several local shops, including Home Decor in Brigantine, Coastal Collective in Ventnor, and Surroundings in Northfield — with more local partnerships on the way. Custom orders are also available for anyone looking to add a personal touch of the Shore to their home.
